As of this month, Centrum Transgenia SAS is an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network. This note explains what we signed, what does not change and what does for anyone running a clinic or a wholesale business in Mexico: how artificial intelligence connects to the appointment book, WhatsApp and Odoo, and what stays documented at every step.
- Centrum Transgenia SAS is an OpenAI Select Partner within the OpenAI Partner Network. It is the global programme for partners to build, sell and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. The details are on our OpenAI partnership page.
- Select is the first of the program's three tiers (Select, Advanced and Elite). It is not the highest tier, and we do not present it as such.
- As an OpenAI Select Partner, Transgenia can build on its work with OpenAI through program resources, enablement and support as it develops and deploys AI solutions for customers.
- It is not a product certification or an endorsement of our services by OpenAI. Transgenia is not listed in the OpenAI Partner Locator, which is reserved for the Advanced and Elite tiers.
- For a clinic or a wholesaler, the concrete change is method: more discipline in how we scope, document and measure every AI integration with the appointment book, WhatsApp and Odoo.
What the OpenAI Partner Network is
The OpenAI Partner Network has a short definition. It is the global programme for partners to build, sell and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. That is the definition OpenAI approved for our announcement, and the one we use throughout this note. The program's canonical page is openai.com/business/partners.
The public facts worth keeping at hand are few, and each has a date. On June 14, 2026, OpenAI announced the Partner Network, with a stated investment of 150 million dollars and the goal of reaching 300,000 consultants holding OpenAI certifications by the end of 2026. On July 15, 2026, the program went live, with applications open, PartnerU, its enablement section, and the public Partner Locator, a directory in which Transgenia is not listed. The spokesperson was Colleen Kapase, VP of Strategic Global Partnerships and Ecosystems at OpenAI. The enrollment portal is partners.openai.com.
The program has three tiers: Select, Advanced and Elite. OpenAI does not publish the numerical requirements for each tier, and we will not describe them here. What we can say is where we stand: in Select, the entry tier. We announced it with the document approved by OpenAI, published exactly as approved.
What being an OpenAI Select Partner means and what it does NOT mean
What it does mean
As an OpenAI Select Partner, Centrum Transgenia can build on its work with OpenAI through program resources, enablement and support as it develops and deploys AI solutions for customers. For us, that means investing further in our technical capabilities and applying greater discipline to how we scope, document and measure customer projects.
It also means an external standard. When an organization of fewer than ten people joins a global program, what it gains is not a logo but a benchmark it will be measured against.
What it does NOT mean
- We are not listed in the OpenAI Partner Locator. That public directory is reserved for the Advanced and Elite tiers. That is the program's design, not an omission on our part.
- It is not a product certification or an endorsement. OpenAI does not endorse, certify or recommend any Transgenia product or service. The program enables partners; it does not certify what each partner delivers.
- It is not a resale contract or a distribution license. We do not resell OpenAI licenses or intermediate its billing. We remain a technology boutique.
And one sentence from the approved announcement that we stand by: a badge does not implement anything. It does not fix a broken process, clean a product catalog or put a practice's appointment book in order. A team still does that, with the customer in the room and their operation running throughout the transition.
What changes for a clinic and for a wholesaler
This is the section that matters for the business, so we write it as architecture, not promise: what connects to what and what stays documented. We give no percentages for savings, conversion or return. If there is no documented measurement from a real, customer-authorized project, there is no figure.
Clinics and medical practices
The typical integration connects three pieces that usually live apart. The appointment book, to confirm and reschedule appointments against the physician's real availability. WhatsApp, as the patient's entry channel, because it is where they already write. And Odoo, for the administrative record and invoicing, so the appointment, note and payment end up in the same system.
Patient data demands access control and traceability: who looked at what, when and from where. That is part of the scope, not an extra quoted separately. What stays documented is the data map, the per-role permissions and the log of every action the assistant takes.
Wholesalers
Here the AI connects to Odoo for quotes, inventory and current price lists; to WhatsApp for the orders that today arrive by message; and to the sales team's calendar, so follow-up does not depend on one person's memory.
What stays documented is which fields the agent reads, which actions it can execute and which require human approval before touching a quote or an order. That boundary is written before kickoff.
To see one of these integrations running, without slides, book a demo and bring a real process from your operation.
Common mistakes when reading a partnership announcement
Partnership announcements are easy to misread. These are the four mistakes we see most often.
- Confusing the partner tier with the provider's technical capability. The tier reflects the relationship with the program. Capability is shown in delivered projects, with documentation and measurements the customer can review.
- Assuming the highest tier is the best provider for a small project. A global integrator at the Elite tier may be the right choice for a rollout to thousands of users and the wrong one for a three-physician practice.
- Believing that being in a directory equals being approved. A partner directory is a list of a program's members. It is not a product approval or a guarantee of service quality.
- Taking a badge as a guarantee of results. The badge indicates membership in a program. The result depends on the customer's process, the quality of their data and the team that implements.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is the OpenAI Partner Network?
It is the global programme for partners to build, sell and deliver AI solutions with OpenAI. It was announced on June 14, 2026 and went live on July 15, 2026. The canonical page is openai.com/business/partners.
Is Transgenia listed in the Partner Locator?
No. The OpenAI Partner Locator is reserved for the Advanced and Elite tiers. Transgenia is an OpenAI Select Partner, the entry tier, and is therefore not listed in that directory.
Does OpenAI publish the numerical requirements for each tier?
OpenAI does not publish this information. That is why this note contains no revenue figures, badge counts or specialization counts associated with any tier.
Does OpenAI endorse Transgenia's services?
No. The program enables partners with resources, training and support; it does not certify products or recommend any partner's services. Any project outcome is the responsibility of Transgenia and the customer.
What changes for a clinic that already works with Transgenia?
The discipline changes, not the work. The integrations with the appointment book, WhatsApp and Odoo remain the same; what is reinforced is how we scope, document and measure them, with access control and traceability over patient data as part of the scope.
Does Transgenia resell OpenAI licenses?
No. Being an OpenAI Select Partner is not a resale contract or a distribution license. Transgenia implements and integrates AI solutions; each customer maintains its own commercial relationship with OpenAI under its own terms.
Conclusion
We are a technology boutique, not a global integrator, and we have no problem saying so. The partnership places us inside a program with an external standard and obliges us to be more rigorous about what we already did: connecting artificial intelligence to the real operation of a clinic or a wholesaler, and leaving every decision documented.
That candor is the argument. The full announcement is on our OpenAI partnership page, alongside the document approved by OpenAI.
