MCP Transgenia Odoo

MCP Transgenia Odoo is the Transgenia toolset that lets an AI agent work with Odoo through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open protocol a model uses to call external tools with defined permissions. It comes in two editions: a free, open-source standard edition, and a private premium edition for teams that write Odoo code.

  • JSON-2 transport, Odoo's new API (saas~18.4 and 19.0 onward), with JSON-RPC and XML-RPC as fallback.
  • Odoo Online tools: database profile, API method catalog, permission checks, a record's documents, and import with a dry run.
  • Python package odoo-mcp-tools on PyPI.
  • On Odoo Online, the plan must include external API access.

  • odoo-tools-lsp: a language server (LSP) with version-aware diagnostics for Odoo code in Python, XML, JS and CSV.
  • Covers Odoo 10.0 to 19.0 and the Odoo Online saas lines.
  • Complements the standard edition and reuses its public package; using the standard edition never requires the premium one.
